VACCINATIONS REQUIRED
For the health and safety of all our pet guests, all dogs and cats boarding or using daycare services at Cloud K9 must be in good health and up-to-date on their required vaccinations. Pets must also not have been exposed to any contagious or communicable diseases within 30 days prior to their stay.
All pets will undergo a health check upon arrival by our team to ensure they are fit and healthy for boarding.
Proof of current vaccinations is required for every pet at the time of booking. Vaccination records must be provided from a licensed veterinarian—self-administered vaccines are not accepted. These can be submitted by email, in person, or via your veterinarian prior to your pet’s arrival.
All dogs and cats must also be on an active flea and tick prevention program to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Please ensure your pet’s vaccinations are updated and submitted before check-in, or your pet may not be accepted for their visit or stay.
The Facts About Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
Bordetella, commonly known as Kennel Cough, is an airborne upper respiratory infection similar to a human cold. It is caused by various strains, and while the Bordetella vaccine is highly recommended, it does not provide 100% protection against every strain due to its airborne nature.
At Cloud K9, we go above and beyond industry standards to help safeguard the health of your pets during their stay. Our strict cleaning and sanitization protocols include:
Daily disinfection of all play areas, kennels, and equipment using pet-safe, non-toxic disinfectants proven effective against Bordetella and other pathogens.
Frequent washing and drying of all blankets, bedding, and kennel pads using our commercial-grade laundry system.
Thorough sanitization of suites after every guest checkout.
We take every measure to ensure Cloud K9 is sanitized year-round, 365 days a year, giving you peace of mind while your pet enjoys their stay with us.
Other Requirements.
Intact male dogs of most breeds may be accepted, but must first pass a temperament assessment.
Females in heat, pregnant females, and puppies under 6 months old are not accepted.
If a female goes into heat during her stay, she will be immediately separated and cared for in a private suite, and any associated costs will be charged to the owner. If she is sharing a kennel, she will be moved at the owner's expense to ensure safety and prevent any incidents.
